COMPARISON BETWEEN SLOW SPEED COMPRESSORS AND SUPERFREEZE HIGH SPEED COMPRESSORS

Power Saving : Approx. 20% saving in power in comparison with slow speed compressor.

Unload Starting : SRA-Series compressors have got unloaded starting which require less torque. Slow speed compressors require more torque while starting.

Capacity Control : SRA-Series compressors incorporates a highly efficient capacity control arrangement which allow the operator to unload number of cylinders as per load requirement and in turn reduces power consumption. Slow Speed compressors does not have capacity control arrangement.

Less Inventory : Since all models have got most of the parts common, less inventory for spares required for SRA-Series compressors where as huge inventory is required for slow speed compressors.

Ease of Maintenance : Can be over hauled/services at site. Since cylinder sleeves are used, no cylinder boring required for SRA-Series. Slow Speed Compressors cannot be over hauled at site.

Control Panel : A control panel complete with HP/LP/OP gauges & cutouts, indicating lamps, condensing pump interlocking, emergency switch etc, supplied along with SRA-Series compressors.

More Capacity : SRA-Series compressors gives more capacity than equivalent slow speed compressors.

Price Very Economical : SRA Series is economical than equivalent slow speed compressor.
